Elegant, stylish...
with just a dash of whimsy

Annie and Myras was created as a tribute to my two grandmother’s who taught me to sew from an early age.

These two wonderful women taught me style and grace which I hope to share through construction of uniquely crafted items.

I hope to capture the glamour of vintage couture, reflecting this through each individual clients personality.

Hats, headpieces and garments are each individually made, many with uniquely sourced vintage materials and trims. Styling and event planning is also available.

My journey with millinery and couturier design began in the early 90’s with a private order dressmaking certificate at TAFE, and I just loved the construction techniques, elegance and variety of fabrics and skills employed. This journey had always felt incomplete whilst I was focused on other careers.

In late 2012, following a millinery workshop with Di Kilduff (to whom I will be forever grateful) I was re-inspired to start my journey with Millinery again, especially after the International Millinery forum in early 2014.

In 2016 I was privileged to be welcomed as a member of the Riverina Millinery Assocation.

Since early 2016, I have started to host weekend workshops for participants who would like to get away to a lovely rural area and explore their creativity. Talented artists who are willing to teach in regional Victoria will be sharing their skills, and for those new to creative arts, I am arranging to run both individual and group classes in dressmaking, construction and basic millinery skills myself.

In March 2016 I made the exciting transition to move my creativity to central focus, leaving my previous career behind.

I am seeking to create a vintage romantic theme for 2nd weddings and unconventional weddings. I am able to offer advanced garment construction techniques, styling, millinery, couturier design and even event planning. Some of the smaller details can create such a unique and personal flair to such very special events. I also enjoy the detailed construction in making bespoke menswear.

I am also happy to arrange weekends away for bridal parties. Perhaps create your own headpieces, or indulge in some of the wonderful opportunities available in our stunning region. An alteration service is also available.

I am interested in the slow fashion movement #whomademyclothes, and hope to teach interested students (any age, men and women) so that these skills are not lost.
