the Charlotte knickers

A$15.00

Originally designed along an old Hollywood/vintage theme, the style lines with the centre vertical lace panels, side front piping, and snug fit were reminiscent of a 50's girdle. The higher waist, lowered side leg length, and back contoured seam are all designed for this theme.Over many different adaptations of fabrics and details, the style has evolved as I describe as "Vintage luxe" evolves...

The final name "the Charlotte knickers" was chosen, as it combines with "the Bette bra". "The Bette bra" was designed for Bette Davis in the movie "Now,voyager" In the movie, Bette Davis plays Charlotte, a young woman oppressed by a domineering mother, and in the course of the movie she blossoms and "evolves"....

There are many ways of styling the base pattern, and many details which may be added. Some details will be available later

as "add-ons"
